Open Position: RN - Rapid Response

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $5360.36

Opportunity:

RN - Peds/Oncology

Job Details:

* 48-hour guarantee with overtime after 48 hours
* No RTO or special scheduling accommodations available
* 4-hour hospital orientation followed by an 8-hour shift on the floor
* Day shift staffed with 4 RNs, 1 charge RN, 1 RT, and 1 PCT
* Night shift staffed with 4 RNs, 1 charge RN, 1 RT, and 1 PCT
* Patient ratios of 1:3, 1:4, or 1:5
* Unit consists of 19 total beds (13 pediatric beds and 6 oncology beds)
* Unit is always staffed with at least 1 oncology nurse per day
* 6 weekend shifts required with 2 being Saturdays
* Float areas include PICU and NICU
* Pediatric hospital experience required
* Pediatric oncology experience preferred
* Perform typical pediatric and oncology procedures
* Work with Alaris pumps and Cerner EMR
* Required certifications: PALS, BLS; APHON certification required for oncology
* Dress code: All navy blue or white top scrubs for RNs

Facility:

This facility is a full-service hospital offering comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services. The pediatric and oncology unit features 19 total beds and is staffed by a dedicated team of registered nurses, respiratory therapists, and patient care technicians. The unit is equipped with modern technology including Alaris pumps and utilizes Cerner as its electronic medical records system, supporting a high standard of patient care for both pediatric and oncology patients.
