Open Position: RN - Case Management

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $3154.60

Opportunity:

Case Manager RN

Job Details:

* 4x10 day shift schedule working Monday through Friday business hours
* Weekend coverage required every other weekend or 4 weekend days within a 4-week schedule
* Guaranteed 70 hours per 2-week period with the possibility of being called off for one 10-hour shift per 2 weeks
* No on-call requirements
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Must have Epic EMR experience (required)
* Must have acute care hospital experience (required - behavioral health experience does not qualify)
* ACM-RN certification preferred
* BLS preferred
* Alaska RN license required
* Microsoft Office/Teams experience preferred
* Will float within case manager services to cover gaps as needed
* Block scheduling not available
* Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (no locals accepted)
* Only one time-off request of 5 days or less permitted per 13-week assignment
* Must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's
* Patient age groups include neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Parking is free

This is a large acute care hospital with 407 staffed beds and a daily census of approximately 324 patients. The facility holds Magnet status, is a Level II Trauma Center, and has been recognized as a Best Hospital in Alaska by U.S. News & World Report. The hospital offers comprehensive interdisciplinary support services including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more.
