Job Details:

* Work 4 ten-hour shifts per week from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with consideration for 5 eight-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
* Rotating day off schedule
* Weeknight call rotation approximately once every 3 weekdays
* Weekend call rotation once every 3 weekends (Friday through Monday)
* May be required to participate in holiday call
* 30-minute call response time required
* Work across 7 total rooms including 4 Cath Lab/EP rooms and 3 IR rooms
* Average of 20+ cases per day across all rooms
* EP cases include ablations (A-Fib, A-Flutter, SVT, VT), EP studies with programmed stimulation, pacemaker and ICD placements, and loop recorder implants
* Verify orders and consent, perform head-to-toe assessments, and provide patient education
* Set up rooms, circulate cases, administer moderate sedation, and assist anesthesia providers
* Continuously monitor hemodynamics and maintain thorough documentation
* Coordinate with team members across Cath Lab, EP, and IR departments
* Participate in STEMI call team (4-person team consisting of 1 RN and 3 Techs)
* Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience required
* IABP experience required
* EMR and equipment used: Merge, Cerner
* Provided scrubs; personal scrub caps permitted
* Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA)
* No floating requirements

Facility:

This acute care facility is a Level 2 Trauma Center providing comprehensive cardiovascular and interventional radiology services. The department operates 7 specialized procedure rooms and supports a high-volume caseload with a dedicated, multi-disciplinary team structure across Cath Lab, EP, and IR settings. The facility utilizes Cerner as its primary charting system and maintains a structured STEMI response team to ensure rapid, coordinated patient care.
