Opportunity:

Job Details:

* 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Every other weekend required
* Patient ratios of 1:3 for days, nights, and weekends
* Float required to like assignments throughout the hospital
* Ohio single state or compact multi-state license required
* Minimum 2 years of experience in NICU specialty required
* Level IV NICU experience required
* Ventilator and trach experience required
* Pediatric experience preferred
* Epic charting experience preferred
* Required certifications: NRP, BLS, PALS
* Care for neonates and infants with high acuity surgical, gastrointestinal, respiratory, and neurological conditions
* Patient diagnoses include Respiratory Distress Syndrome, Intraventricular Hemorrhage, Prematurity of the Neonate, Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia, Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia, Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome, Failure to Thrive, Necrotizing Enterocolitis, and more
* Special equipment includes Nitric Oxide, Servo Ventilators, Hi Flow Nasal Cannula, Ram Cannula, Bubble CPAP, EVD, Shunts, G-tubes, Trachs, Giraffe Beds, Moog Feeding Pumps, Arterial Lines, Peritoneal Dialysis, Oscillators, and Bili Lights and Blankets
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Pharmacy, Rapid Response Teams, and more
* 90-bed unit with a daily census of 81

Facility:

This facility is home to a Level IV NICU specializing in high acuity surgical, gastrointestinal, respiratory, and neurological conditions of the neonate. The unit maintains a high volume of intubated and acute infants and is supported by a regional high acuity Fetal Care Center. With 90 beds and comprehensive interdisciplinary support services, the facility is equipped to provide advanced care for the most complex neonatal cases.
