Job Details:

* Night shift position
* 6-9 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule
* Self-scheduling and block scheduling options available
* Holiday requirements apply
* May be asked to float within Zone 1 based on need
* Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks
* Nurse to patient ratio of 1:4
* Treat 35+ patients per day in the emergency department
* Work with common diagnoses including abdominal pain, chest pain, fever, cough, dyspnea, headache, injuries, and extremity pain
* Manage common drips including cardiac, antihypertensive, antiarrhythmic, sedation, and analgesia
* Work with respiratory therapy equipment including vents, CPAP, BiPap, and high flow oxygen
* Charting completed using EPIC system
* Scrub color required: Navy Blue
* BSN not required
* Must be within 60 miles of facility
* Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), ENPC or PALS, NIHSS, NRP, TNCC

Facility:

This facility operates a Level IV Trauma Center emergency department with 15 beds and 2 trauma bays. The emergency department includes a fast track area, separate triage area, dedicated psychiatric and seclusion rooms, and 24/7 in-house security. The facility is also a STEMI Receiving and Stroke Center, offering comprehensive emergency care services with respiratory therapy available around the clock.
