Open Position: Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

* 3x12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, weekdays
* On-call responsibilities include occasional weeknight call from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Weekend on-call rotation: 1 weekend per month (in a 5-week schedule may appear as 2 weekends); call only on Saturday and until 11:00 PM on Sunday
* Guaranteed hours: 32?40 hours per week
* No floating required
* 14-room OR suite with an average daily census of 25 cases per day
* Must be able to scrub, circulate, and perform equipment documentation
* Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted with applicable CVOR scrub experience
* CVOR experience required: Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair, Carotid Endarterectomy, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft, Mitral Valve Replacement, Pericardial Window
* CVOR experience preferred: Atherectomy, Atrial Septal Defect Repair, Cardiomyoplasty, Femoral Popliteal Bypass Graft, Robotic Assisted Cardiac Surgery, TAVR, VAD
* Surgery experience required: General, Endo/Laparoscopic, Thoracic
* Surgery experience preferred: Vascular, Urology, Ortho/Total Joints
* Special equipment used: OR Tables, Stirrups (Yellow Fin), Battery Operated Equipment, Positioning Aids, endoscopes, laparoscopic equipment, robot modules (trained on-site)
* Charting system: Cerner and Accudose
* Required certifications: NBSTSA, BLS (AHA)
* WV or Compact OR Tech License required; pending license accepted for submission but active license required before start
* Patients served: Adults and Geriatrics
