Opportunity:
RRT - NICU
Job Details:
* Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Patient population includes neonates through pediatrics, with float potential to adult patients
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, RRT, NRP, PALS
* Must have NICU experience including high-risk deliveries and surfactant administration
* Required experience with Draeger and Servo I ventilators
* Required skills include pulmonary toileting, ABG interpretation, basic EKG, BiPAP, CPAP, trach collar management, and surfactant administration
* Additional skills include umbilical cord gases, bronchoscopy, high frequency oscillator, nitric oxide, nasal airway placement, tracheostomy care, and weaning from mechanical ventilation
* Epic charting system experience required
* Scrub color: Hunter Green
* Every other weekend shift required unless otherwise specified
* Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission
* Floating required within facility, including to adult care, and possibly to sister campus
* Option to sign up for on-call during volume variation
* Holiday work expectations apply based on how many major holidays fall within assignment period
