Special Procedures Technologist - IC, IR, Vascular, Structural Heart, and Neuro

Job Details:

* Support Interventional Cardiology, Interventional Radiology, Vascular, Structural Heart, and Neuro specialties
* Guaranteed 40 hours per week
* Block scheduling with attempts made to schedule as consistently as possible
* Weeknight and weekend call required
* On-call requirement: 8 call days within a 4-week period, with a 2-hour callback minimum
* 1 call weekend every 3-5 weeks (Friday through Monday); 24 hours on-call Saturday and Sunday
* Float within the cath lab unit as needed; no floating to sister facilities required
* Daily caseload of approximately 15 patients
* Facility has 5 rooms and serves patient age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Top procedures include Structural Heart (TAVR, Mitraclip, Watchman), IR, Neuro, Vascular, Cardiac, and EP
* Must be proficient with equipment including Philips imaging systems, Philips Xper hemo system, Philips IVUS/IFR/FFR, Boston IVUS IFR/FFR, OCT, Roto, Penumbra, Angiojet, Jetstream, EKOS, and Shockwave
* Required skills include: Cardiac Implant Closure Device, Cardiac Stent Placement, Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab, Diagnostic Catheterizations (Adult), Equipment Setup, IABP Placement/Removal, Interpretation of Dysrhythmias, Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Left and Right Heart Catheterization, PCI, PTCA, Recognition of Life-Threatening Arrhythmias, Room Circulator, Rotablator Atherectomy, Scrub Procedures, and Sterile Technique
* Electronic charting experience required
* Required certifications: ACLS, ARRT (R), BLS, and State License
* Requested time off restriction of 7 days

This facility is a large medical center with 220 beds and a dedicated cath lab unit consisting of 5 procedure rooms. The facility supports a broad range of advanced cardiovascular and interventional specialties, including structural heart procedures, neuro, vascular, cardiac, and electrophysiology. Comprehensive interdisciplinary support services are available on-site, including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more, ensuring a well-rounded and collaborative care environment.
