Job Details:

* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Patient ratio of 1:2 on days, nights, and weekends
* No on-call required
* No weekend requirement
* May be required to float between sister facilities nearby contracted facility - refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours
* Block scheduling available at manager's discretion
* RTO must be included at time of submission - must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
* Facility is able to call off once per two-week pay period
* Orientation hours: 24
* Charting system: Epic (experience required)
* Scrub color: Any color (L&D and OR scrubs provided)
* Free parking available
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, Advanced AWHONN, LA Fire Card, CA state license
* Experience circulating for cesarean sections in the operating room required
* Prefer candidates with experience at a facility that performs a minimum of 200 deliveries per month
* Patient age groups: Neonates and adults
* Daily census: 12 | Number of rooms: 10 | Number of beds: 15
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary
* 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years, submitted during the compliance process and prior to start

This is an acute care Magnet-designated hospital with 377 total staffed beds, reflecting a strong commitment to nursing excellence and high-quality patient care. The facility provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support services and maintains a well-equipped labor and delivery unit with 15 beds and 10 rooms. As a Magnet facility, it upholds rigorous standards for nursing practice and patient outcomes.
