RN - Med/Surg

Job Details:

* Night shift position working 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Schedule consists of 3x12-hour shifts per week
* Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
* Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
* Coordinate care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment
* Collect and analyze patient data to determine diagnosis and care issues
* Develop and implement care plans that prescribe interventions to attain outcomes
* Evaluate progress toward attaining patient outcomes and identify appropriate interventions
* Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to deliver safe and effective care
* Provide health education and information to patients, families, and treatment team members
* Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
* Delegate and coordinate duties of healthcare team members appropriately
* Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience required
* EPIC experience required
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
* Acute care facility experience preferred
* Required certifications: BLS (from AHA-approved vendor), ACLS (AHA) or ALS (ARC)
* Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in state of practice required
