Open Position: RN - Med Surg

Opportunity:

RN - Ortho/Trauma/Spine

Job Details:

* Work on a dedicated Orthopedic/Trauma/Spine unit with 18 beds
* Patient ratio of 6:1
* Must maintain a 50+ mile radius requirement
* Float requirement to all Med Surg units and ED Holds
* Scrub color: Royal Blue
* Utilize telemetry monitoring, IV infusion pumps, bladder scanners, EKGs, enteral feeding pumps, BiPAPs, Vapotherms, drains, chest tubes, PPN/TPN, and PCA
* EMR system: Meditech
* Perform IV therapy and medication administration, blood product administration, wound care management, central line care and maintenance, and enteral feeding management
* Current RN license required
* BLS and ACLS certification required
* Medical-surgical nursing experience required
* Ability to care for telemetry patients required
* Strong assessment and critical thinking skills required
* Experience managing patients with multiple chronic conditions required
* Surgery step-down/MedSurg experience preferred
* Meditech experience preferred
* Strong teamwork, adaptability, excellent communication with interdisciplinary teams, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple patients effectively expected
