Opportunity:

RN - Medical Surgical

Job Details:

* Work on 3rd Floor medical surgical unit with 25 beds
* Patient ratios: Days 5-6:1, Nights 6:1
* Every other weekend scheduling required (Saturday and Sunday)
* Weekday shifts are flexible
* Floating policy: PRN, most often between medical surgical units
* Must have strong assessment skills and experience with IV pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing cabinets
* Perform IV and foley catheter placement procedures
* Work with Sara Steady, Wound Vac, Tele Health, Virtual Sitter equipment, and remote telemetry
* Documentation system: Meditech
* Patient experience requirements include BSSR and hourly rounding
* Unit staffing includes unit secretary and 2-3 PCTs on days, 2-3 PCTs on nights
* Required certifications: BLS, NIH, CPI preferred
* Dress code: Black or Royal Blue scrubs
