Opportunity:

MRI Tech - Trainer

Job Details:

* 6-month contract position
* Tuesday through Friday schedule, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
* No call required
* No weekend shifts required
* Willing to work with clinician on holiday coverage
* Responsible for training and supporting less experienced MRI staff
* Minimum 3 years of MRI experience required, including experience training and supporting less experienced MRI staff
* Required equipment experience: Siemens required, GE PACS preferred
* Epic charting system experience within the last 18 months required and must be clearly documented on profile
* Required certifications: ARRT (MR and R) and BLS
* Patients served include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Skills required include but are not limited to: MRI of abdomen, brain, chest, pelvis, spine, and extremities, contrast media preparation and administration, radiation safety, starting peripheral IVs, MRCP, MRA, MRV, and isolation precautions/PPE
