Opportunity:

RN - Psychiatric/Behavioral Health

Job Details:

* Evening shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
* 5 x 8-hour shifts per week with no set days
* Typically every other weekend required
* Minimum 1 year of psychiatric experience required
* Inpatient behavioral health EPIC experience required
* Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
* Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
* Coordinate care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking and independent judgment
* Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues
* Develop and implement care plans, coordinate care delivery, and promote health and safety
* Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers in a safe and caring environment
* Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
* Provide health information and learning opportunities to patients and family members
* Required certifications: RN license, BLS (AHA or ARC), and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) - CPI can be attained on site
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred

This facility has been serving people of all ages for more than 30 years, operating as a freestanding 61-bed psychiatric care facility offering short-term psychiatric care for children, adolescents, and adults. The facility also provides partial hospitalization programs for adults, with an extensive range of treatment programs designed to foster empowerment, connection, and meaningful lives for patients.
