Open Position: Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2257.60

Job Details:

* 10-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM
* Call requirement of 2 days per week and every third weekend
* Float requirement to Main OR and Vascular OR as needed
* Weekend coverage required when needed
* 1:1 patient ratio
* Minimum 1.5 years of experience required
* Travel experience required
* Must have experience working with Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics
* Experience in CVOR and Trauma work settings required
* Experience with Cardiac and Vascular surgery cases required
* Trauma Level II experience required
* Must be proficient in scrubbing for every case
* Required skills include: Fire Safety, Aseptic Technique, Laser Safety, Sharp Safety, Specimen Handling/Labeling, Sterilization/Disinfection, and Universal Protocol (Time Out) Procedure
* Preferred experience working in a community hospital
* Preferred experience with organ donation
* Epic charting experience preferred
* Required certifications: BLS and NBSTSA
* Scheduling determined by manager
* 40 hours of unit orientation required
* Scrubs provided

Facility:

This healthcare facility provides surgical services supporting multi-specialty inpatient, outpatient, and emergent surgical procedures. The facility offers a comprehensive range of procedures including Vascular, General, Neurosurgery, Orthopedic, Urology, EENT, OB/GYN, Plastics, OMF, Trauma, Dental, Pediatric, Neonatal, and Endoscopy. The facility also supports organ harvesting procedures and operates with 31 OR rooms within an 810-bed hospital, utilizing EPIC, Pyxis, and SBAR systems.
