Open Position: RN - ICU

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2634.00

Opportunity:

Mixed ICU MICU, SICU, Neuro

Job Details:

* Care for adult and geriatric patients in a mixed ICU setting including MICU, SICU, and Neuro units
* Patient ratio of 2:1 on days, nights, and weekends
* Self-scheduling with weekend coverage required
* Float required within the Irvine Campus
* 24-bed unit with a daily census of 12 patients
* 48-hour orientation period
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Community hospital, LTAC, Trauma Level I, and Trauma Level II experience preferred
* Epic charting system experience required and must be noted in work history
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
* California state license required in-hand when applying (EMSA not accepted)
* Two supervisor references required when applying
* No RTO within the first two weeks of assignment; maximum 7 days RTO per 13-week contract highly preferred
* Must be proficient with special procedures including IABP, Impella, IRRAflow, EVD, and arterial lines
* Key skills required include ventilator management, arterial line management, central line care, continuous IV sedation and paralytics, vasoactive drip titration, ICP monitoring, EVD management, and traumatic brain injury care

This facility is a well-established academic medical center offering a comprehensive range of specialty services across multiple intensive care disciplines including medical, surgical, and neurological critical care. The unit features 24 beds and supports complex patient populations requiring advanced monitoring and intervention. The facility maintains high standards for clinical excellence and utilizes Epic as its primary charting system to support interdisciplinary care teams.
