Opportunity:

Occupational Therapist

Job Details:

* Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with flexible hours working either 4 or 5 days per week
* No weekend or holiday requirements
* Treat 8 to 12 patients per day
* Cover both outpatient and inpatient areas
* Must have pediatrics experience as coverage primarily involves pediatric and inpatient populations
* Common diagnoses and patient types include outpatient orthopedic upper extremity, lymphedema, inpatient total joint replacements, inpatient general medical, neurological impairments, and outpatient mental health
* Care settings include acute inpatient, acute rehab, skilled, outpatient adult, adult acute inpatient, and adult swing bed
* 1 to 2 years of experience required, 3 to 4 years preferred
* Previous travel experience not required
* Must be organized with strong communication and teamwork skills
* Must be able to work independently with clinical skills and problem solving
* Skilled in physical agent modality use and application required
* Familiarity with DME and adaptive equipment required
* Ability to fabricate and modify splints for upper extremity therapeutic management required
* Ability to perform wheelchair evaluations required
* Charting system: Epic
* Professional casual dress code, scrubs allowed
* Required certifications: BLS, Minnesota License
* NBCOT preferred but not required
