Open Position: RN - ICU/CCU

Opportunity:

RN - ICU/ACU

Job Details:

* 12-hour shifts available on both day (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) and night (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) schedules
* Every other weekend rotation required
* No on-call responsibilities
* Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered - at least 1 completed travel assignment required
* Patient ratios typically 2:1, sometimes 1:1 depending on patient acuity
* Care for neuro/spine patients, patients on pressors, and BiPAP patients requiring consistent high FiO2 who may transition to ICU level of care
* Required skills include chest tubes, wound vacs, dressing changes, monitoring femoral arterial sheaths, DKA management, BiPAP, high flow oxygen, post-TCAR care, femoral endarterectomy care, and arterial lines
* Impella and/or IABP experience preferred with competency verification required on assignment
* EPIC EMR experience preferred
* Float coverage to ICU level or below throughout the hospital
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* Any color scrubs required, must be professional

This 226-bed non-profit community hospital includes 20 ACU beds and 11 CCU beds, providing a well-rounded acute and critical care environment.
