Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) - Cardiology

Job Details:

* 4x8-hour shift schedule, Monday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday with possible Tuesday shifts as needed
* No weekend shifts required
* No on-call requirements
* Shift times vary by day: Monday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM; Tuesday 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
* Monday/Wednesday/Thursday at First Hill Clinic in Seattle
* Friday at First Hill Clinic with possible floating to Ravenna Clinic or Canyon Park Clinic in Bothell as needed
* 13-week contract
* Minimum 6 months of experience working as an MA-C in an adult/pediatric outpatient clinic setting preferred
* Cardiology setting experience preferred
* Must be a certified Medical Assistant (MA-C); MA-R, MA-P, and MA-HT credentials are not accepted
* Reliable personal transportation required; public transportation is not acceptable
* Scrub color: Solid dark, no prints
* EPIC charting system experience preferred
* Required certifications: BLS, CMA
* Required skills include: obtaining vital signs, height/weight, pulse oximetry, 12-lead EKG/ECG, positioning and draping, recording patient history/medications/allergies, administering immunizations, blood glucose via glucometer, chart preparation, stocking supplies, telephone triage, administering medication, follow-up phone calls, and rooming patients
* This is a temp-to-hire opportunity; candidates must be open and willing to transition to a permanent position

This outpatient cardiology clinic operates across multiple locations in the greater Seattle area, offering specialized cardiac care services to both adult and pediatric patients. The facility utilizes EPIC as its charting system and maintains a collaborative, multi-site care environment where staff may float between clinic locations to support staffing needs.
