Job Details:

* Inpatient Physical Therapist position with float requirement between units as needed
* Weekend shifts required - either Tuesday through Saturday or Sunday through Thursday depending on department need at time of contract start
* No on-call required
* No block schedules required
* Patient ratio of 1:1
* 48-hour shifts not approved
* Will see patients on all inpatient units including clinical decision unit, ICU, telemetry, and med-surg
* Will also cover surgical units (same day unit and short stay unit), emergency department, and occasionally inpatient rehabilitation facility
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
* Scrub color: Any color for RN/Allied staff
* Charting system: Epic experience required
* No parking fee
* At least 1 year of experience required
* First-time travelers and first-year experience candidates accepted
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* Required certification: BLS
* Preferred experience: ICU, MedSurg, neurology, orthopedics, adaptive skills, and prosthetic training
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby contracted facility
* 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years, completed during compliance process prior to start
* All RTO and specific scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during submittal

This short-term acute care facility operates with 108 total staffed beds and offers a comprehensive range of inpatient services across multiple units including ICU, telemetry, med-surg, clinical decision, same day surgical, and short stay units. The facility features a geriatric-certified emergency department along with Joint Commission-certified stroke and orthopedic programs. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretarial staff.
