Job Details:

* 12-hour night shifts with call required and every other weekend (EOW)
* Shift options include 8-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM), 10-hour shifts, and 12-hour shifts with mid shifts starting at 9:00 AM or 10:45 AM
* Patient ratio of 1:1
* Weekend requirements covered by call
* Holidays covered by call
* Call schedule includes 1-2 weeknights per week and weekend call approximately once per month from end of shift Friday through 6:30 AM Monday
* Scrubs provided by the facility
* EMR system: Cerner Surginet
* Charting system: Cerner
* Work with a variety of surgical cases including total joints, general, vascular, spine, ortho, neuro, ENT, trauma, and CVOR cases (CABG, valve, pacers, lead extractions, lung cases)
* All case types except transplant
* Strong experience with total joints, general, vascular, and spine required
* OR Technicians available on unit
* Respiratory Therapy available 24/7
* Pharmacy available 24/7
* One orientation shift with preceptor provided
* Trauma Level 2 facility
* Required certifications: BLS Certification

This acute care facility is a Level 2 Trauma Center offering a comprehensive surgical program covering a wide range of specialties including cardiovascular, orthopedic, neurological, vascular, ENT, and trauma surgery. The operating room department is supported by a clinical supervisor, OR director, and OR manager, along with a dedicated team of OR technicians. The facility maintains robust 24/7 support services including respiratory therapy and pharmacy to ensure optimal patient care outcomes.
