Opportunity:

RN - BMT ICU

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Bone Marrow Transplant ICU unit with 37 beds
* Patient ratio of 1:2
* Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse and 10-12 nurses
* At least 1 year of current BMT ICU experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Certificate
* Chemotherapy Certification preferred
* BMTCN and/or OCN certification preferred
* Use Baxter Pumps and Meditech EMR system
* Administer and monitor high-risk infusions
* Perform Neutropenic Fever protocols including blood culture draws and IV medications
* Strong teamwork and positive attitude required

The unit is a leader in CAR-T research, an innovative therapy with the potential to become a cure for blood cancers. The unit is supported by an experienced team of 60 nurses and 5 PCTs, offering a collaborative and forward-thinking environment for healthcare professionals.
