RN - L&D

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Work in a 20-bed Birth Care Center unit
* Patient ratios of 3-4:1 for postpartum couplets and 1-2:1 for labor patients
* Night shift team consists of 1 CNC/charge nurse, desk clerk, scrub tech, and 4-5 RNs
* Perform procedures including C-sections, inductions, AROM, IUPC, DFM, Doppler, and circulating C-sections
* Operate equipment including Welch Allyn vitals machines, CPN monitors, POC glucose monitoring, and Monica Novii telemetry
* Use Meditech/CPN electronic medical records system
* Minimum 1 year of current L&D RN experience required
* Postpartum experience preferred
* High risk LDR experience preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN or Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (IFM)
* Must follow HCA ICARE standards of behavior
* Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to stay busy in a fast-paced environment preferred

The facility is equipped with modern technology including advanced fetal monitoring systems and offers a full range of labor and delivery services. The unit maintains a collaborative team environment with experienced staff and supports a wide scope of obstetric procedures to ensure comprehensive patient care.
