Opportunity:

PET Technologist

Job Details:

* Work 5x8-hour shifts with varying start times between 6:30 AM and 10:00 AM and varying end times between 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM
* No holiday shifts required
* No on-call requirements
* May be required to work Saturdays up to twice a month if needed due to camera downtime or excessive backlog
* No floating between service lines or sister facilities
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2-week period
* Agency must supply radiation badge - facility does not provide radiation badges to travelers
* Must have 1 year of experience; first-time travelers accepted
* Level I and Level II trauma experience preferred
* Experience with Siemens equipment/scanner required
* Charting system: Epic (preferred)
* Scrub color: Teal top and black pants
* Parking cost applies nights and weekends only with a one-time payment of $20 for a parking pass
* Perform PETCT scans and various nuclear medicine procedures across all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Required skills include PET scan, PETCT experience, starting and maintaining IVs, drawing venous blood, storing/handling/disposal of radioactive materials, isolation precautions/PPE, nuclear cardiology, bone scans, brain scans, renal scans, liver imaging, HIDA scans, gastric emptying, ventilation/perfusion, MUGA scan, and pharmacological stress procedures
* Required certifications and licenses:
- BLS
- NMTCB(N) or ARRT(N)
- NMTCB(CT) or ARRT(R) or ARRT(CT)
- SCRQSA State License in Nuclear Medicine and Radiology or Computed Tomography
