Radiology/Cardiology - MRI Tech

Job Details:

* Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* No on-call or weekend requirements
* Guaranteed 3 shifts per 13-week contract
* May be required to float between departments, units, and facilities as needed
* Home address must be at least 75 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
* Maximum of 7 days of requested time off; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission
* Perform MRI imaging for adult and geriatric patient populations
* Experience required with GE MRI and Philips MRI equipment
* Charting experience required using Epic
* Required certifications: ARRT MR, ARRT R, BLS
* Required skills include: Abdomen, Abdominal MRA/MRV, Adult Acute Care, Adult ICU, Adult Outpatient, Brain, Breast, Cervical, CINE (Cerebrospinal fluid flow study), Diffusion (non-brain), Face/soft tissue neck, Female and Male Pelvis, Foot, Hand, Head MRA/MRV, Hip/bony pelvis, Knee, Lower extremity long bones, Lumbar, MRCP, Neck MRV, Orbits, Perfusion, Philips, Preparation and/or administration of contrast media, Radiation Safety, Sacrum/coccyx, Shoulder, Spinal trauma, Starting Peripheral IVs, Sternum, Temporomandibular joint with/without contrast, Thoracic, Thoracic MRA, and Upper extremity long bones

This facility is a large health system providing comprehensive radiology and cardiology services to adult and geriatric patient populations. The organization offers robust interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretarial staff. The facility utilizes advanced imaging technology including GE and Philips MRI systems and operates on the Epic electronic health records platform.
