RN - L&D

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Labor & Delivery unit located on Floor 3A of the Main Hospital
* 26-bed unit with a staff of 52
* Day shift minimum staffing: 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs, and 1 ORT
* Night shift minimum staffing: 1 charge nurse, 3 nurses, and 1 ORT
* Patient ratios: 1:4 for antepartum patients and 1:1 or 1:2 for laboring patients (estimated, not guaranteed)
* Utilize Alaris pumps and document in Meditech and CPN charting systems
* Care for laboring patients, antepartum patients, and EDOB patients
* Perform C-sections and cerclage procedures
* Minimum 1 year of current L&D RN experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN or Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
* Mom baby or couplet care experience preferred
* Antepartum/high risk L&D experience preferred
* Must be flexible and able to work autonomously

This facility is a well-established hospital offering comprehensive women's health and labor & delivery services. The unit is equipped with modern technology including Alaris pumps and an advanced electronic medical records system. The experienced and tenured staff work collaboratively to provide high-quality care to laboring, antepartum, and high-risk patients in a dynamic and supportive environment.
