Job Details:

* Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* Community hospital experience required
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Phlebotomy experience required
* Required certifications: ASCP, ASCP MT, ASCP-MLS, ASCP-MLT, BLS
* APTA Neurology Certification and ASCP or AMT certification required
* Must be able to work with patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Key skills required include venipuncture, specimen collection and preparation, blood banking procedures, manual differential, microscopic urinalysis, culture plating, gram stain, CBC manual, PCR testing, transfusion reaction workup, and quality assurance and controls
* Proficiency with laboratory analyzers and automated instruments required
* Experience with crossmatch procedures, antibody screening, and blood product handling required
* Candidates must reside more than 40 miles from the facility

Facility:

This community hospital provides comprehensive clinical laboratory services supporting a wide range of patient care needs. The facility serves adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations and offers interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, rapid response teams, and phlebotomy. The laboratory operates with a daily census of approximately 30 patients and handles around 20 visits per day.
