Job Details:

* Work three 12-hour night shifts, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
* No on-call required
* Up to one working weekend shift per four-week schedule period
* Required to work at least one holiday period (Christmas: December 24?26 or New Year's: December 31?January 1)
* May be required to float within scope to meet facility needs
* Facility may call off one shift per two weeks; called off hours can be broken down to add up to one shift
* Block schedule available with manager approval, dependent on unit needs
* 2 years of experience strongly preferred
* First-time travelers accepted
* SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license required
* Required certifications: BLS and Radiation Badge (to be provided by agency)
* Level 1 trauma experience required
* Scrub experience strongly preferred
* RNs are trained to both scrub and circulate surgical procedures
* Surgical specialties include Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics
* Charting system: EPIC
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Patients served include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Interdisciplinary support includes interpretation services, radiology, pharmacy, and unit secretary

Facility:

This facility is a Level I Trauma Center, teaching facility, and Magnet-designated hospital with 820 total staffed beds. The Main Operating Room features 21 OR suites covering all surgical specialties. The nursing team consists of 75% Registered Nurses and 25% Certified Surgical Technologists, operating within a busy, nurse-driven department that provides cutting-edge technology to the surrounding community.
