Open Position: RN - PICU

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2588.64

Opportunity:

RN - PICU

Job Details:

* Work 3x12-hour night shifts per week
* 4-5 weekend shifts required per 4-week schedule
* Navy blue scrubs required
* BSN required
* Minimum 2 years of PICU experience required, preferably in a Level 1 trauma hospital
* CVICU experience preferred
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
* California RN license required (temporary licenses not accepted)
* Epic charting system experience required
* Care for infant and pediatric patient populations
* Daily census of 24 patients
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, rapid response teams, and more
* Required skills include but are not limited to: arterial line management, central line care, ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, CRRT, ECMO, ICP monitoring, pediatric dosage calculations, IV vasopressors, tracheostomy care, and management of chest tubes

The PICU unit operates with a census of 24 patients and is supported by a robust interdisciplinary team including respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, radiology, social services, and rapid response teams. The facility maintains high standards of care for infant and pediatric populations and offers a dynamic, fast-paced clinical environment.
