Job Details:

* Day shift hours from 6:45 AM to 6:45 PM or evening shift hours from 10:45 AM to 10:45 PM
* 40 guaranteed hours per week
* Up to 2 weekends of on-call per month with holiday call as needed
* Up to 2 weekdays of on-call per week
* Minimum 1 year of CVOR experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Scrubs provided by the facility for this position
* Charting system: Excellian/Epic
* Parking available at a flat rate of $0.55/hour
* Required cardiac surgery case experience: CABG (on/off pump), AVR, MVRR, TVRR, aortic aneurysm/dissection, total artificial heart, heart transplant, LVAD implantation, minimally invasive valve replacement, and trans-catheter mitral/aortic/tricuspid valve replacement
* Required vascular surgery case experience: Endovascular and open vascular procedures including AAA, thoracic and thoracoabdominal aneurysm including fenestrated grafts, endarterectomy, bypass for peripheral artery disease, amputation, and ECMO decannulation and repositioning
* Required CVOR case experience: Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair, Atrial Septal Defect repair, Carotid endarterectomy, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft, Endovascular Aneurysm Repair, Endovascular Aortic Repair (EVAR), Femoral Popliteal Bypass Graft, Mitral Valve Replacement, Pericardial Window, TAVR, TEVAR, Ventricular Assist Device (VAD), and ECMO
* Preferred case experience: General, endo/laparoscopic, vascular, thoracic, bariatrics, and transplant
* 6 total operating rooms: 4 ORs, 1 Hybrid, and 1 PV room
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics with a daily census of 8 to 10
* Required certifications: BLS, and NBSTSA or NCCT
* No floating within scope or to sister facilities required
* Requested time off restricted to no more than 5 days per contract

Facility:

This short-term acute care facility is a Magnet-designated, teaching hospital with Level III Trauma designation. With 672 total staffed beds, the facility provides a high-acuity environment supporting complex cardiac and vascular surgical cases. The facility is equipped with a hybrid OR and a full-service cardiovascular operating suite, offering a dynamic and advanced clinical setting for experienced surgical technologists.
