Open Position: RAD Tech - Interventional Rad Tech Radiology

Job Details:

* 4x10 shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with 30-minute unpaid lunch
* Set day off with some variability available if needed due to PTO
* 8-hour shifts optional but rare
* 7 days of call coverage during contract
* Optional weeknight call from 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM
* Optional weekend call from Friday 5:30 PM to Monday 7:00 AM
* Holiday call is optional
* 30-minute call response time required
* No floating requirements
* 1 year of interventional radiology experience required including CVA, carotid stents, and body cases
* Must have neuro experience
* Must be experienced in scrubbing IR procedures
* Common cases include embolization, Y90, neuro, carotid stents, stroke, epistaxis, nephrostomy tubes, nephroureteral stent placement, ports, trans-jugular liver biopsy, G-tube, GJ-tube placement, AVF (fistulas), TIPS, and PICCs
* Patient population is mostly adults 18+ with occasional pediatric patients
* Works across 2 IR suites with neuro sharing an additional hybrid room with the cath lab
* Average of 15 cases per day
* EMR system: Epic; Equipment: Philips
* Hospital-provided scrubs available on-site; shoes must remain at work
* Required certifications: ARRT, ARRT (CV), BLS Certification
* 1-day department-specific orientation for techs
* Client may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment

Facility:

This acute care facility operates a robust Interventional Radiology department with two dedicated IR suites, including a shared hybrid room with the cath lab used for neuro cases. The department handles a high volume of complex procedures across body, PA, and neuro specialties, supported by experienced interventionalists who are in-house during the day. The facility uses Epic as its primary charting system and maintains a collaborative environment with strong physician leadership.
