Job Details:

* Day shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM
* Weekend shifts required: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
* No on-call required
* No block schedules required
* Patient ratio of 1:1
* At least 1 year of experience required
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Required certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS, OBMI prior to start
* Proficient in 3D rendering techniques including maximum intensity projection, surface shaded displays, and volume rendering
* Experience with CT scanning for abdomen, chest, head, pelvis, cervical, lumbar, thoracic, sinuses, soft tissue neck, and musculoskeletal trauma required
* Experience with vascular chest imaging such as pulmonary embolism, CTA, and aorta required
* Ability to perform multiplanar reconstruction and carotid imaging required
* Skilled in preparation and administration of contrast media
* Ability to start peripheral IVs and perform venipuncture required
* Knowledge of radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE required
* PACS experience required
* Serve patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Work across 3 CT scanners in the main department and 2 CT scanners in the ED department
* Scrub color: any color permitted; OR/Cath Lab scrubs are provided
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* 2 professional references required, covering 1 year within the last 3 years

Facility:

This is a short-term acute care teaching hospital with 536 total staff beds and a daily census of approximately 450 patients. The facility supports a high volume of imaging with approximately 175 visits per day and operates 5 CT rooms with a total of 5 scanners split between the main department and the emergency department. Interdisciplinary support including IV teams and transportation is available. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and offers no-fee parking for staff.
