Otolaryngology MA

Job Details:

* 5x8 hour shifts, Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
* No weekends, no holidays, and no on-call required
* MA-C preferred; MA-R accepted if needed
* At least 6 months of experience as a Medical Assistant required
* ENT setting experience preferred; Adult Outpatient setting experience required at minimum
* First-time travelers accepted
* May be required to float to First Hill/Ballard otolaryngology clinics as discussed with manager
* Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced clinic and rooming environment
* Autoclaving and high-level disinfecting is part of the role; training will be provided
* Charting system: EPIC
* Scrub color: Any color
* Patient age groups: Adults and Pediatrics
* Required certifications: BLS, CMA or MA-R
* Skills required include rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, recording history/medications/allergies, height/weight, follow-up phone calls, authorization forms, insurance verification, and experience in adult and pediatric outpatient clinic settings

Facility:

This otolaryngology clinic provides specialized outpatient care for patients of all ages, including adults and pediatrics. The facility operates Monday through Friday and utilizes EPIC for charting, offering a structured and supportive clinical environment. Staff are trained in specialized procedures including autoclaving and high-level disinfecting, ensuring a high standard of patient care and safety.
