Opportunity:

RN - NICU

Job Details:

* 12-hour shifts available from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Night shift (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM) with every other weekend requirement
* First to float when needed
* Patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:3 for feeder/grower patients
* Level 3b NICU with 16 beds (expanding to 20 beds)
* Charting system: Cerner
* Ventilators used: Aveya, bubble CPAP, Vapotherm, and oscillator
* Monitoring equipment: Phillips monitors with no monitor tech on staff
* Drips: all types administered
* Respiratory therapy available 24/7
* Pharmacy available 24/7
* Float to Labor & Delivery or postpartum to care for babies as needed
* Common diagnoses include all gestational ages, prematurity, sepsis, cooling therapy, and substance abuse/withdrawal
* Ability to attend deliveries is preferred
* Minimum 2-3 years of NICU experience required with Level 3 NICU experience mandatory
* Travel experience preferred
* Spanish-speaking skills preferred
* Experience with cooling therapy preferred
* Scrub color: Navy
* Floor-specific orientation: 2-3 shifts
* Holidays worked in coordination with permanent staff
* Required certifications: BLS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
* BSN not required
* Valid state nursing license required for submission
