RN - Med Surg/Telemetry

Job Details:

* Perform comprehensive patient assessments upon admission and monitor condition trends throughout hospital stay
* Prepare, administer, and chart prescribed medications including IVs
* Manage wound care and specialized equipment
* Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans
* Instruct patients and families on post-surgery care, medication schedules, and post-discharge instructions
* Recognize early signs of medical deterioration and take swift action to stabilize patients before emergencies occur
* Work within a float pool assignment
* Every other weekend schedule required
* No on-call responsibilities
* Minimum 2 years of Med Surg and Telemetry experience required
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA)
* Michigan nursing license required
