Opportunity:

RN - Medical ICU

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
* 3x12 night shift schedule
* 36 guaranteed hours per week
* No call requirements
* Minimum 2 years of Medical ICU experience required
* Travel experience preferred
* Nevada RN license required prior to start
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
* Provide comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients including their families and caregivers
* Work in an 8-bed Medical ICU with 1 Critical Care Technician per shift
* ICU Charge RN also serves as the Rapid Response RN
* Collaborate with a set group of intensivists who rotate weekly and remain on-call 24/7
* Schedule may include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts
* Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Eve + Day counts as 1 holiday)
* May be required to float to other areas of the organization up to competency level
* May be required to pick up one additional shift during the schedule period

This medical center is nationally recognized in the top 1% of hospitals nationwide for outstanding care in heart attack, heart failure, pneumonia, and surgical procedures. The facility operates 24/7 and offers a comprehensive range of services including primary care, heart care, OB/GYN, advanced surgical services, X-ray and imaging, lab services, rehabilitation services, and nuclear medicine. The Medical ICU is a chest pain accredited center, with patients requiring cath lab or interventional radiology services transferred to a partner campus.
