CNA - Acute Care

Job Details:

* PRN position with no guaranteed hours - will work with unit to pick up regular shifts as needed and available
* Night shifts required with 2 weekends per month
* 36 hours per week when shifts are available
* Ability to pick up additional open shifts
* 1 CNA per shift working alongside 2 nurses
* No on-call required
* No floating to other units or departments
* 10-bed unit in an acute care setting
* Dress code: Scrubs in khaki or black
* Charting system: Epic electronic medical record
* Provide assistance with basic health care needs including bathing, grooming, toileting, and eating while supporting emotional and spiritual needs
* Record vital statistics, blood glucose levels, and other basic health information
* Assist with patient transfers and ambulation
* Perform clerical work related to scheduling and documenting patient healthcare
* Prepare and clean patient treatment areas, living areas, and medical equipment
* Dispose of biomedical waste in accordance with standards and policy
* Minimum 2 years of CNA experience required
* Successful travel experience in a hospital setting required
* CNA certification in state of practice required
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA)
* All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
