MRI Tech

Job Details:

* Work 3x12-hour day shifts on Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday
* 1 holiday shift may be required during contract
* No on-call responsibilities
* 40 guaranteed hours per week
* Daily caseload of 100-150 patients per tech
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* Home address must be at least 50 miles from facility
* Float within service line as needed
* Required certifications: BLS and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT - must be in hand at time of submission
* Siemens equipment experience required
* Must be proficient in at least two of the following Siemens scanners: Espree, Trio, Aera, Skyra, Sola, or Vida
* IV starts and PACS experience preferred
* Preferred experience: Outpatient/Inpatient, ER, Level 1 Trauma, Teaching hospital, community hospital, NICU, and Adult ICU
* Preferred imaging skills: Abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, breast, spine, musculoskeletal, CINE, Diffusion, Gradient Echo Imaging, Image Post-Processing, MIP, MRP, Perfusion, Peripheral magnetic resonance, spectroscopy, spin echo images, surface coils, and T-1/T-2 weighted images
* Scrub color: Black
* Charting system: EPIC

Facility:

This short-term acute care teaching facility and Level 1 Trauma center is a large-scale hospital with 1,259 staffed beds and 13 MRI rooms, housing multiple Siemens scanners including the Espree, Trio, Aera, Skyra, Sola, and Vida models. The facility serves a diverse patient population including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, and provides a comprehensive and fast-paced environment for experienced MRI technologists.
