Job Details:

* Work three 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
* No on-call requirements
* Weekend requirement of up to one working weekend shift every 4 weeks
* Must be available to work at least one holiday period (Christmas: December 24?26 or New Year's: December 31?January 1)
* May be required to float within scope to meet facility needs between like units or sister facilities
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks; called off hours can be broken down to add up to 1 shift
* 2 years of OR RN experience strongly preferred
* First-time travelers accepted
* South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license required
* Required certifications: BLS and Radiation Badge (radiation badge to be provided by agency)
* Level 1 trauma experience required
* Scrub experience strongly preferred
* RNs are trained to both scrub and circulate surgical procedures
* Surgical specialties include Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics
* Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Charting system: EPIC
* Scrub color provided by facility
* Locals accepted on a case-by-case basis within a 60-mile radius
* Block schedule available upon manager approval, dependent on unit needs

Facility:

This facility is a Level I Trauma Center, teaching facility, and Magnet-designated hospital with 820 total staffed beds. The Main Operating Room features 21 OR suites covering all surgical specialties and operates as a busy, nurse-driven department offering cutting-edge technology. The nursing team consists of 75% Registered Nurses and 25% Certified Surgical Technologists, supported by interdisciplinary services including interpretation services, radiology, pharmacy, and unit secretarial support.
