Opportunity:

RN - Electrophysiology

Job Details:

* 6-week contract position
* Schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
* No weekend requirements
* No on-call requirements
* Minimum 2 years of experience working as an RN in Electrophysiology (EP) required
* EPIC charting experience required
* Any color scrubs accepted
* Required certifications: BLS
* Required skills include:
- Pacemaker/Defibrillator lead extraction/removal
- Watchman procedure
- Arrhythmia Induction
- Cardiac Ablation
- Cardiac Mapping
- Cardioversion
- Conduction Studies
- Insertion/Programming of AICDs
- Left Atrial Appendage (LAA) Closure
- Pacemaker Insertion
- Administration of Antiarrhythmics, Antihypertensives, and Thrombolytics
- Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- Obtaining 12-lead EKG/ECG
* Preferred qualifications include familiarity with GLP-1 therapies in AFib management, experience in risk factor modification clinics or device clinics, strong patient education skills around lifestyle and medication adherence, and involvement in quality improvement initiatives
* Background in cardiac step down, cardiac telemetry, or cardiac ICU is a plus
* Interdisciplinary support available including interpretation services, phlebotomy, and unit secretary

The clinic is equipped to handle a broad spectrum of cardiac conditions, from general cardiology triage to complex electrophysiology interventions.
