Opportunity:
Procedure Scheduling Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C)
Job Details:
* 5x8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with weekends off
* No on-call requirements
* In-person position at clinic - no floating between units
* 1 year of experience working as an MA in an adult outpatient clinic setting required
* Procedure scheduling experience preferred; if not, outpatient cardiology experience is required
* Must be comfortable with vital signs including hearing screening, height/weight, obtaining 12-lead EKG/ECG, pulse oximetry, and vital signs
* Must be able to record patient history, medications, and allergies
* Office duties include insurance verification, scheduling appointments, and telephone triage
* Must be able to review lab tests
* Charting system: EPIC experience required
* Required certification: BLS and CMA
* Washington State MA-C license required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Patient population: Adults and Geriatrics
* This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with potential for a permanent offer at the end of the contract

This facility is a Heart & Vascular Clinic dedicated to providing specialized cardiovascular care to adult and geriatric patients. The clinic offers a focused outpatient environment where medical assistants play a key role in supporting patient care through procedure scheduling, diagnostic support, and clinical operations. The facility utilizes EPIC as its charting system and maintains a structured Monday through Friday schedule to serve its patient population.
