Open Position: PT - Physical Therapist Outpatient

Opportunity:

Physical Therapist

Job Details:

* 10-hour shifts, Monday and Wednesday through Friday (Tuesdays off), no weekends
* Outpatient therapy setting only
* Patient population includes adult and pediatric orthopedic and neurological cases, all ages
* Daily patient load of approximately 75-90 patients
* 40 guaranteed hours per week
* EPIC EMR experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, Missouri License, Manual Therapy, Wound Care
* Preferred experience: Pediatrics
* Key skills include home exercise programs, lifting and transfer, patient and family education, safety and injury prevention, and recognition of signs and symptoms of physical, sexual, and psychological abuse
* Dress code: Solid-colored collared shirt (polo or athletic style), black pants (docker or athletic style), tennis shoes or loafers; no logos or sleeveless shirts permitted
* Charting system: EPIC
* No on-call required
* No floating within facility required
* Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted

Facility:

This is a freestanding outpatient clinic affiliated with a critical access hospital with 35 total staffed beds. The therapy team includes physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, occupational therapists, speech therapists, massage therapists, and an activity coordinator, supported by front office staff and a manager. The clinic offers PT, OT, ST, massage therapy, and independent wellness programming, treating a wide range of conditions including orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, developmental delays, traumatic brain injuries, sports injuries, total joint replacements, and post-operative cases.
