Opportunity:

RRT - Pediatric Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

* 3x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* Weekend coverage every other weekend, may vary based on need
* Floating to other units and/or campuses required as needed
* Must be able to work in all areas of pediatrics including PICU, NICU, ER, and Acute Care
* Critical care experience required
* Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
* Medication systems used: Pyxis and Omnicell
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, SC RRT license
* Required skills include: aerosol set up mask and trach, albuterol, apnea monitor, atrovent, bag and mask, capillary blood gases, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), metered dose inhaler (MDI), mucomyst, hand held treatments, trach collar, and xopenex

This facility is a large, well-established health system offering comprehensive pediatric services across multiple care settings including PICU, NICU, emergency department, and acute care. The organization provides interdisciplinary respiratory services and is committed to maintaining high standards of patient care for pediatric populations. The health system supports floating between units and campuses to ensure optimal patient coverage and care delivery.
