Opportunity:

Primary Care MA-C

Job Details:

* 13-week contract with temp-to-hire opportunity for local candidates only
* Schedule: 5x8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
* No weekend or on-call requirements
* Guaranteed hours: Facility may call off traveler up to 1 shift per pay period (every 2 weeks)
* At least 6 months of experience working as an MA in an Adult Outpatient Clinic required; Pediatric Outpatient or Private Physicians Office experience may be considered
* MA-C certification required
* BLS certification required
* Epic charting experience required
* Navy scrubs required
* Reliable personal transportation required (public transportation not accepted)
* No floating required within the facility
* Candidate must be open and willing to convert to a permanent position at the end of the contract
* Skills include: rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, administering medications, immunizations, EKG/ECG, blood glucose via glucometer, urinalysis, ear lavage, hearing screening, vision testing, and general clinical support
* Patient age groups served: adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Interpretation services available as interdisciplinary support

This primary care clinic operates within an 8-room outpatient setting, providing comprehensive care to patients across all age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The facility utilizes Epic as its electronic health record system and maintains a structured, team-based environment focused on delivering high-quality primary care services to the local community.
