RRT - Polysomnography

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Weekend and holiday shifts required as scheduled
* Possible time off for Thanksgiving and Christmas
* No on-call or standby call requirements
* Perform sleep studies in accordance with policy and procedure guidelines in the Sleep Evaluation Center, at the bedside, and in critical care areas
* Conduct approximately 2 sleep tests per shift
* Work exclusively within the Sleep Lab department
* Must be comfortable performing sleep studies on medically complex pediatric patients
* Float position - first to float as needed
* Scrub color required: Caribbean Blue
* Equipment used: Respironics, ResMed, and Natus sleep software
* Charting system: EPIC
* Cancellation policy: 2 shifts per 13-week contract
* Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapist experience required
* West Virginia Licensed Respiratory Therapist Registered (LRTR) or Licensed Respiratory Therapist Certified (LRTC) required
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA), Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) via NBRC verification
* Must hold one of the following NBRC certifications: CPFT, RPFT, CRT, RRT, or Registered Sleep Disorder Specialist (SDS)

Facility:

This is a children's acute care facility featuring a dedicated Neuro Sleep Lab located on the 10th floor. The facility provides comprehensive sleep evaluation services and supports medically complex pediatric patients. The department operates with on-site hospitalist and intensivist coverage and provides department-specific orientation to ensure contractors are well-prepared for their roles.
