Open Position: Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

* 3x12 night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
* Holiday rotation required
* Every other weekend required
* No on-call required
* Must be able to float to all areas of the hospital, including labor and delivery
* 2 years of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted for night position only
* Travel experience required
* Must have recent critical care experience
* RRT only - CRT not accepted
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Scrub color: Caribbean Blue
* Charting system: Epic (experience required)
* Free parking available
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, and NBRC (RRT) - all must be in hand at time of start
* South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (RCP) license must be in hand at time of start
* Trauma Level I and II experience preferred
* Community hospital experience required
* Skills include: Adult Critical Care, BiPAP, CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Mechanical Ventilation Weaning, Intubation Assist, Bronchoscopy, Nitric Oxide, Tracheostomy Care/Management, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Pediatric Critical Care, NICU, and more
* Serves patient age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and Radiology

This is a large healthcare facility with 396 total staffed beds, offering comprehensive interdisciplinary support services including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretarial support. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and is committed to delivering high-quality patient care across a wide range of specialties and age groups.
