Opportunity:

RN - Med/Surg Tele

Job Details:

* 3x12 shift schedule
* Float required if needed to other like units or nearby hospitals
* Patient ratios: 4-5:1 days, 6:1 nights
* Unit serves adult and geriatric patient populations
* 25-bed unit with a daily census of 20
* Focus on orthopedics and bariatric patients on a telemetry unit
* Medication system: Pyxis
* Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
* Minimum 2 years of experience in field required; 3 years of experience within specialty required for first-time travelers
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
* South Carolina RN license required
* Required skills: Blood product administration, central line care/management, interpretation of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions/PPE, management of dysrhythmias, MS/Tele, nasal cannula, oxygen administration, peripheral line care/management, telemetry, and EKG
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary
