Job Details:

* Varied 12-hour day shifts with shift times of 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, or 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM
* Night shift unit is closed with on-call coverage provided by 2 PACU nurses
* One night of on-call per week and two weekends on-call required within a 13-week contract
* On-call responsibilities only, no block scheduling approved
* Patient ratio of 1:2
* Work in a 26-bed PACU unit located on the 2nd floor of the main hospital adjacent to the OR
* Perform post-anesthesia care for patients undergoing general, neuro, oncology, orthopedic, vascular, and all types of surgical procedures
* Floating to Day Surgery may be required
* EMR system: Meditech experience is required - candidates without this will not be considered
* ICU and PACU experience required
* ACLS certification required
* Dress code: Royal Blue scrubs or hospital-provided scrubs
* Follow ASPAN Guidelines for unit policies
* Ideal candidate is easy-going and pleasant in personality
