Job Details:
* Day shift schedule
* Call required 1 day per week and 1 weekend every 4 weeks, subject to change based on departmental needs
* Weekends only required during call
* Floating within facility/scope of practice and to Main OR as needed
* Patient ratio of 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends
* No self-scheduling; block schedules not honored
* Travel pairs not accepted
* Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Heart Transplant experience highly preferred
* Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, RNFA
* Hard stop skills required: Cardiac, Vascular, Endovascular, and Thoracic experience with CSFA, NBSTSA, or NCCSA
* Key skills include: Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), CVOR, TAVR, VATS, LVAD/RVAD, Mitral Valve Replacement, MAZE Procedure, Carotid Endarterectomy, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), Thoracotomy, and related vascular/endovascular procedures
* Patients served include adults and geriatrics
* Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory and interpretation services
* Pre-approved time off: one request allowed
* RTO policy: maximum 7 days per contract; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission; no RTO during orientation week; no consecutive weekend requests; only 1 weekend of RTO per 4-week timeframe
* Holiday RTO: no holiday RTO accepted; if 3 holidays fall during assignment, 1 holiday RTO may be considered
* GA or Compact nursing license required at time of submission
