Opportunity:

RN - Emergency Department

Job Details:

* Rapid response assignment with a 6-week contract requiring 48 hours per week
* Work in a 38-bed emergency department with three main areas: Rapid, Main, and POD 3 (psych safe area)
* Day and night shifts available with 7 RNs per shift and 5 mid-shift RNs
* Minimum requirement of 4 weekend shifts and 2 Fridays per 4-week schedule
* Must work 2 major holidays and 2 minor holidays
* No RTO or special scheduling requests accepted
* Required to float to Brookside ED as needed
* Dress code: Navy blue scrubs required
* Must be proficient with ventilators, BiPAP, EKG, arterial lines, Belmont, and chest tubes
* EMR system: Meditech
* Perform procedures including port placement and chest tube management
* Must demonstrate strong prioritization, time management, and de-escalation skills
* CPI certification preferred
* Must be a patient-focused team player with attention to detail and a positive, coachable attitude
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, TNCC, and ENPC must be included in submission packet

This emergency department facility features a 38-bed unit divided into three specialized areas including a Rapid care section, a Main emergency area, and a dedicated psych-safe POD 3 unit. The department is equipped with advanced medical technology and supports a high-acuity patient population with around-the-clock nursing coverage across day, night, and mid shifts.
